Scent Work is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the country—and for good reason. It’s a “brain game” that allows dogs of any age, breed, or physical ability to excel. At Runchkin Hill, we take the same professional techniques used for our Police K9 and Narcotics units and adapt them into a fun, rewarding activity for family pets.

Program & Pricing
Like our obedience programs, Scent Work is offered through our structured Day School sessions or as a specialized Level 5 Mastery focus in our Saturday group classes.
- Beginner Scent Work Course: $350
- Advanced Scent Work Course: $400
- Private/Semi-Private Lessons: Available Monday–Saturday (Contact for specific time slots).
Note: Scent Work is perfect for “grumpy” dogs or those that are reactive to others, as dogs work one at a time and mostly on a leash.

Interior Searches:
Finding scents hidden within rooms and structures.
Exterior Searches:
Navigating wind and weather to locate a source.
Vehicle Searches:
Learning the precision of searching cars and trailers.
Buried/Container Searches:
Mastering the “find” in complex hiding spots.
